Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Church.IQ, a SaaS church management platform operated by Rehoboth.ai (ABN 28 670 625 125) ("Church.IQ", "we", "us", "our"), accessible at churchiq.com and church-iq.com.

By registering for an account or using the platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use Church.IQ.

1. Agreement and Acceptance

These Terms form a legally binding agreement between Church.IQ and:

• The Organisation — the church or religious non-profit entity that registers an account and uses the admin portal
• Authorised Users — administrators and staff granted access by the Organisation
• Members — congregation members who access the Church.IQ mobile app ("Member Portal") via an invitation from their church

By accepting these Terms (including by clicking "I agree" during onboarding or accepting a portal invitation), you represent that you have authority to bind the Organisation where applicable.

2. Description of Service

Church.IQ is a subscription-based SaaS platform that provides churches and religious organisations with tools to:

• Manage member records, contributions, events, announcements, and ministry rosters (admin portal)
• Enable congregation members to view personal giving history, ministry schedules, and the church directory (Member Portal — mobile app)
• Generate reports and access AI-powered insights about church data

Church.IQ is intended for use by religious organisations and non-profit entities only.

3. Account Registration and Eligibility

Organisations must:

• Be a legitimate church or religious non-profit operating lawfully in their jurisdiction
• Provide accurate and complete registration information, including legal name, ABN/charity registration details, and a valid payment method
• Be represented by an individual who is at least 18 years of age and authorised to bind the Organisation

Authorised Users must:

• Be at least 18 years of age (or the age of majority in their jurisdiction)
• Use the platform only for legitimate church administration purposes

Members receive access via invitation from their church. Member Portal access is subject to these Terms and the Organisation's own policies.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at contact@church-iq.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

4. Subscription Plans and Billing

Church.IQ offers the following subscription plans (prices excluding applicable taxes):

• Billing cycle: Monthly, billed in advance on your subscription start date
• Auto-renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew each month unless cancelled before the renewal date
• Payment processing: All payments are processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you also agree to Stripe's Terms of Service
• Price changes: We will give you at least 30 days' notice of any price increase. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance
• Taxes: Prices may be subject to applicable local taxes (including GST where applicable) at the prevailing rate

5. Free Trial

New Organisations are entitled to a 14-day free trial on the plan of their choice:

• Full access to all features of the selected plan during the trial
• No charge during the 14-day period
• On day 15, your nominated payment method will be automatically charged at the plan's monthly rate
• You may cancel at any time before day 15 without charge — cancellation instructions are available in your account settings

Church.IQ reserves the right to modify or discontinue the free trial offer at any time with notice.

6. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use Church.IQ only for lawful purposes consistent with its intended use. You must not:

• Use the platform for any purpose other than the management of a legitimate church or religious non-profit organisation
• Upload, store, or transmit content that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, or harassing
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform or another Organisation's data
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise attempt to derive the source code of the platform
• Use automated tools to scrape or harvest data from the platform
• Transmit spam, unsolicited messages, or commercial communications unrelated to church management
• Violate any applicable law, including the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) or Spam Act 2003 (Cth)

Violation of this policy may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account without refund.

7. User Content and Data Ownership

You own your data. All member records, contribution data, and other content you input into Church.IQ ("Organisation Data") remains the property of your Organisation.

You grant Church.IQ a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, process, and transmit Organisation Data solely to provide the service.

Church.IQ acts as a data processor in respect of personal information you upload. You (the Organisation) are the data controller and are responsible for ensuring you have a lawful basis for collecting and storing your Members' personal information, and that your use of the platform complies with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and any other applicable privacy laws.

On account termination, you may export your Organisation Data during the data export window described in clause 12. After that window, we will securely delete your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

8. AI Features

Church.IQ includes AI-powered query and insight features powered by multiple large language model providers.

By using AI features, you acknowledge:

• AI responses are generated automatically and may contain errors, inaccuracies, or omissions
• AI outputs do not constitute financial, legal, pastoral, or professional advice
• You are responsible for independently verifying any AI-generated information before relying on it
• Church.IQ does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of any AI-generated response
• AI queries are processed by third-party providers in accordance with their data processing terms; see our Privacy Policy for details

Mobile app AI sessions are stateless — no conversation history is retained between sessions.

9. Stripe Connect and Donation Collection

Churches on eligible plans may use Stripe Connect to collect donations directly from their congregation through Church.IQ.

By enabling Stripe Connect:

• You agree to Stripe's Connected Account Agreement and Stripe's Terms of Service
• You acknowledge that Stripe is responsible for payment processing and that Church.IQ is not a payment processor or financial institution
• You are responsible for your own compliance with applicable laws regarding charitable fundraising and financial reporting
• Church.IQ is not liable for any Stripe fees, chargebacks, disputes, or failures in payment processing

10. Intellectual Property

Church.IQ and its underlying software, design, trademarks, and content are owned by Rehoboth.ai and are protected by Australian and international intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer any intellectual property rights to you.

Organisation Data and church-branded content you upload remain your intellectual property, subject to the limited licence in clause 7.

11. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using Church.IQ, you consent to the collection and use of personal information as described in the Privacy Policy.

12. Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for unused portions of a paid billing period, except where required by the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you materially breach these Terms and fail to remedy the breach within 14 days of written notice, engage in conduct that poses a security risk, or fail to pay subscription fees when due.

Data export window: Following account closure, you will have 30 days to export your Organisation Data. After this period, your data will be anonymised or securely deleted in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable legal obligations.

13. Limitation of Liability and Disclaimers

Australian Consumer Law: Our services come with consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) that cannot be excluded. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the ACL.

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• Church.IQ is provided "as is" without warranty of uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or fitness for any particular purpose
• Church.IQ's total aggregate liability to you for any claim is limited to the fees you paid to Church.IQ in the 12 months preceding the claim
• Church.IQ is not liable for any indirect, consequential, special, or punitive loss or damage, including loss of data, loss of revenue, or loss of goodwill

14. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.

In the event of a dispute, the parties agree to first attempt informal resolution by written notice and good-faith negotiation for at least 30 days. If unresolved, disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales, Australia. Nothing in this clause prevents either party from seeking urgent injunctive relief.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or prominent notice within the platform at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of Church.IQ after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to material changes, you may cancel your subscription before they take effect.
